A woman’s ex-boyfriend tried twice to break into her home last Wednesday, only to finally succeed in getting himself killed. 

According to local media reports, the man first tried to force his way into the West Philadelphia home through a kitchen window. A little later, he forced his way in through a second floor window and began attacking his ex-girlfriend. 

That’s when the woman’s current boyfriend pulled a gun and shot the intruder in the chest. According to police reports, he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
