Never let it be said that Kyle Kashuv will change his opinion just so he can be popular at school. The young man, who was one of the few to stand his ground on gun rights after a deranged madman went on a shooting rampage at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, has endured a mixed bag of responses to his vociferous support of the Second Amendment.

In the plus column, he has met President Donald Trump and conservative thinker Ben Shapiro, and he also has a job at Turning Point USA. On the debit side, he lost a lot of his so-called friends and has received threats and had his name smeared on social media.

Still, according to an interview posted on reason.com, he remains steadfast in his beliefs about the First and Second Amendments.
