“It just never ends,” said President Donald Trump in reference to the latest terror attack in Paris, France, that resulted in the death of one police officer and two injured citizens. ISIS immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.

The attacker exited a car near a parked police van and shot through the window of the vehicle. Officers returned fire, killing the attacker, but not before he had killed the driver. According to The Sun, the gunman had served 15 years in prison for shooting at police officers.

Once again, the restrictive gun laws in Paris have done nothing to stop terrorists from getting their hands on AK-47s, grenades and plastic explosives. “An automatic weapon was used against police,” The Sun quoted a government spokesperson as saying. “A weapon of war.” Unfortunately, until laws are changed, French citizens will continue to be at risk as terrorists continue their unfettered reign of terror.
