It’s a live TV shopping network hosted by some of the most experienced and talented personalities in the business. But the merchandise categories aren’t fashion, jewelry and electronics—they’re pistols, rifles and shotguns.

Welcome to GunTV, a new home shopping network offering a wide range of firearms and related product and services, plus educational information, resources and entertainment. Each segment of the show features hosts with a variety of experience and backgrounds—from law enforcement and military to competitive shooters and NRA firearm instructors.

“They have a deep knowledge of firearms and accurately represent the products that we air,” said Valerie Castle, manager of GunTV. “They don’t promote a firearm unless they’ve gone out and used it.”

GunTV debuted on Friday and broadcasts seven days a week on satellite and cable, plus streams live on the Internet. The network hopes to eventually become an around-the-clock operation.
