NRA News Commentator Colion Noir has released a new video commentary, “Media Fans Flames of Racism,” in which he responds to the deceitful media’s unjust claims that the NRA does not care about the black community: “If any organization acts in a racist manner toward my gun rights, it’s you, the national news media.” In the video, Noir directly calls out “socially inept morons like Russell Simmons,” who previously stated Noir was just being used when NRA News gave him his own show. He also takes on “ultimate troller Don Lemon,” for attacking the right of young black men to open carry.

In standing up to those who used last week’s tragedies to promote their anti-Second Amendment agenda by trying to paint the NRA and its members as racists, Noir asserts, “You people [the media] fan the flames of racism to sell the tension to your sponsors and then you can’t figure out why black people all over America are legally arming up.” He goes on to cite the NRA’s long history of defending the rights of African-Americans including Shaneen Allen, Josephine Byrd and Otis McDonald, stories the media has largely ignored. Noir then adds, “The Democratic Party invented gun control after slavery to keep guns out of the hands of black people and they haven’t stopped since. But you don’t tell that story, either.” He also asks where the media was when four people died and 51 were wounded in Chicago over July 4th weekend.

Noir opens the video commentary echoing the emotions felt by many across the country this past week: “As I watched Philando Castile dying in that car, I watched myself die, and it evoked every emotion in my body.” Speaking directly to the unjust critics who claimed the NRA was being racist for not immediately issuing statements, Noir goes on to say, “As a lawyer, I’ve learned to wait for all the evidence before rushing to judgment because emotions can blind you and rob you of impartiality.”

Watch Noir’s powerful commentary below, and share it with friends, family and on social media.

As we are caught in the throes of this moment in American history, the things we should be seeing are going by blurry fast or are being ignored altogether by a mainstream media that feeds on the partisan din.

Gun Review | Rost Martin RM1C

I would like to introduce you to the Rost Martin RM1C—and yes, anyone familiar with the Glock 19 will immediately see its lineage. I nevertheless became intrigued by this gun, as I believe you might, thanks to some of its special features—and thanks to its price tag.

The NRA is Still Fighting for Our First Amendment Freedoms

Though the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 9-0 in favor of the NRA's argument in NRA v. Vullo, the decision sent the case back to a lower court, which ruled the offending government official had "qualified immunity." As a result, this case is ongoing.

Policing Should Not Be A Political Issue

Crime is a complicated topic, but there is an extremely simple rule that must be observed before one can begin to fight it effectively: One must genuinely wish to deal with the problem. Without such an elementary ambition, no amount of legislation, activity, taxpayer money or speechmaking will make the slightest bit of difference.
