The National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund has spent nearly $3 million to reserve air time for a series of commercials promoting Donald Trump’s stance on law-abiding American citizens’ right to keep and bear arms.

The ads are set to air in Ohio, North Carolina and Pennsylvania beginning the week of Sept. 5 and running through Oct. 18, according to a report from Kanter Media political ad tracker.

NRA began supporting Trump with ads pointing out Hillary Clinton’s record before Trump began airing his own campaign ads. And there’s little wonder why. While Clinton has shown her outright disdain for the Second Amendment, Trump has taken the opposite side of the issue—which he is quick to point out. “It’s easy for Hillary Clinton to turn a blind eye to crime when she has her own private security force that, by the way, carries guns,” Trump said at a recent campaign stop. “I believe all Americans—not just the powerful—are entitled to security.”

No More Tax on Suppressors!

When President Donald Trump (R) signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB) into law on July 4, 2025, he scheduled the end of the burdensome $200 excise tax imposed on suppressors, short-barreled firearms and “any other weapons” as defined by the National Firearms Act (NFA). That end came on January 1.
