posted on December 14, 2015

A Detroit pizza delivery driver used his firearm Wednesday night to fight off an armed robber.

According to police reports, the driver arrived at a house with an order, only to find the home abandoned. An armed assailant hiding inside attempted to rob him.

The driver then turned the table on the robber, pulling his own firearm and shooting it out with him. The suspect was wounded and found on the next street over, where he was arrested. A second suspect is at large, but no description was made available by police.
