If you wonder just how bad President Barack Obama’s planned executive order on guns might be, just look at the company he’s keeping.

In continuing his push for what likely will be an unconstitutional executive action on firearms, President Obama recently met with the billionaire gun-banner and former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has never met a restriction he didn’t like. “The two discussed ways to keep guns out of the hands of those who should not have access to them and what more could be done at the state and local level to help address gun violence in America,” the White House said in a statement.

It’s telling that President Obama would receive counsel on the topic from Bloomberg, who knows nothing about guns but pumps millions of dollars each year into efforts to restrict the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans. Any executive action is expected to be announced after the holidays.
