We’ve all heard the tongue-in-cheek references to President Barack Obama being named gun salesman of the year for his constant barrage of attacks against the Second Amendment. Now a well-known gun rights attorney is making the case that such an “honor” doesn’t go far enough.

“President Obama is the gun salesman of the decade,” C.D. Michel told Larry King in an ORA.TV interview. “His laws have caused people to go out and buy guns in record numbers.”

Michel further explained how the president’s efforts have basically backfired. “When you threaten to ban a gun, that causes a rush on those guns,” he said. “There’s more guns being sold in California and the country the last few years than there’s ever been before. There’s been a huge increase in demand. So those gun companies are making money.”
