Tennessee Man Wards Off Armed Intruders

posted on November 26, 2015

Armando Morales of Sevierville, Tenn., was reportedly at home when two men knocked on his front door and asked to cut firewood. When Morales declined and shut the door, the suspects began shooting through it, then kicked down the door and invaded the house.

The Sevier News Messenger says that Morales retrieved his own gun and returned fire, driving the suspects back out of his home. He was unhurt, and the suspects were later picked up by sheriff’s deputies and charged for the home invasion.
