A Duncanville, Texas, man shot three people who were robbing and assaulting him Monday morning, as reported by CBS DFW. According to police, the victim was in his home with another man when three suspects entered the residence and attacked him. One started assaulting him while two other suspects began loading the man’s property into a vehicle that was parked outside where a fourth suspect was waiting.

Neighbors reported hearing five gunshots after the resident picked up a weapon and shot three of the suspects, police said. The suspects then jumped into a silver Dodge Avenger driven by the fourth man and were quickly stopped at a nearby intersection. The three injured suspects were transported to a local hospital but the fourth suspect fled before officers arrived. Police are still searching for the fourth suspect.
