Tough Gun Control Still A Priority

In a Howard University interview of President Obama, ABC’s Dr. Richard Besser confirmed what the BATFE’s recent attempt to ban M855 ammo should have already made clear: New, tough firearms restrictions and barriers to ownership are still on the president’s agenda.

Sprinkling phrases like “administratively tighten,” “chipping away” and “common-sense gun safety laws” throughout the interview, the president called out his idea of the usual suspects—the NRA, the gun lobby and the (Republican-held) Congress—as intractable on the subject.
