Tulsa Homeowner Fights Off Armed Intruder

posted on November 9, 2015

A homeowner and two other people were in a north Tulsa home yesterday morning at about 10:30 a.m. when an intruder kicked in the front door and entered the home.

When the home invader walked into the living room, the homeowner shot the man in the chest. The injured criminal fled in a car, wrecked it, and then was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Officers at the scene said at this point in the investigation it appears the homeowner was defending his life and property, and no charges are expected.
