When Luke Rockhold, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middle-weight champ, sat down for this interview I had to ask him about his fighting techniques, as I have long been a fan, but this conversation quickly transitioned to how all of his training as a fighter translates to his training as a shooter. More importantly, he answered why a guy who is clearly one of the toughest men on the planet so strongly believes in the right to keep and bear arms.

The answer, of course, is clear: Guns are tools that potentially can make the frailest person equal to the biggest man. These tools have existed for centuries. The Founders of this nation put the right to own them in the U.S. Bill of Rights because of how critical they are to individual rights.

Luke discusses this and tells stories about how he trains with firearms and more. Like so many others, he is an advocate for this basic human right.
