Women Propelling Gun Sales To All-Time Highs

posted on November 21, 2016

A report from KTVI in St. Louis is crediting the fairer sex with being instrumental in pushing firearm sales to record levels over the past 18 months.

The radio station quoted Steve King, owner of Metro Shooting Supply, who says he has had more women customers than ever before, and that the numbers keep growing. “If I could open a new store, it would cater to women and self-defense … it has been growing the past five years,” he said.

King says they offer shooting lessons every day. Not only are these classes full, but women make up 80 percent of the class.
