What you probably read in the news about the NRA Annual Meetings, and what those of us who attended the event witnessed, were entirely different.

The "leak" of a U.S. Supreme Court opinion and subsequent attempts to threaten the Court's justices are examples of the pitiable state of the rule of law in our country.

For anyone who ever needed proof of how crucial gun rights are to our survival and our safety, I have just two words of advice: Remember Ukraine!

One thing is absolutely clear—in terms of passing good bills and defeating bad bills, the NRA-ILA is the proverbial "800-pound gorilla" at both the federal and state levels.

Preserving innocent life is predicated on the protection of our Second Amendment freedoms.

Now is not the time for complacency. We must remain vigilant in protecting our Second Amendment rights that are constantly under attack from anti-gun legislators.

We are seeing the biggest spike in crime in more than 20 years due to the Biden administration's failures.

The best way to defend your right to protect yourself and your loved ones is to replace anti-gun politicians with solid pro-gun majorities in both the U.S. Senate and House.

As your new NRA president, I want to thank you for the opportunity to serve our Association and protect your right to keep and bear arms.
