Today is the day we have all been waiting for these last several months—the day we can reclaim our country from the last eight years of divisive politics and anti-gun fervor, or spiral into four or eight more years of the same, or possibly even worse.

Basically, the choice is ours. Will we all work together to get as many like-minded people—family, friends, shooting partners, workout buddies, etc.—as we can to the polls today? Will we make one last push to keep Hillary Clinton out of the White House, where she can wreak havoc on our freedom for the foreseeable future?

Because if she wins, that’s exactly what she will do. She has even said so.

We’ve documented Clinton’s disdain for the Second Amendment and for America’s law-abiding gun owners many times over the past several months. Examples are so numerous that I could write volumes again today.

But if there is only one reminder I could leave you with, it would be this:

In a Democratic presidential debate on national television, Clinton named the NRA—peaceable, law-abiding gun owners, who are simply trying to protect the Second Amendment—as the enemies she is most proud of. She even listed 5 million lawful NRA members ahead of Iran—the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism. Drug cartels, Vladimir Putin, North Korea and ISIS terrorists didn’t even rate a mention. We’ve documented Clinton’s disdain for the Second Amendment and for America’s law-abiding gun owners many times over the past several months.

And there is absolutely no reason to think that she doesn’t still feel that way. While she has made a concerted effort to never say the words “radical Islamic terror,” she has attacked NRA and law-abiding gun owners nearly daily since her announcement that we top her enemies list.

Make no mistake: When she says NRA, she isn’t just talking about NRA leaders and lobbyists. She doesn’t believe that the Second Amendment protects an individual right, so she must consider anyone who does believe that to be her enemy. That means me. And that means you.

By now, it should also be no surprise to learn that Republican nominee Donald Trump believes just the opposite of Clinton. And he’s not ashamed to let the world know.

He pledged his strongest support for the right of law-abiding gun owners to keep and bear arms in a recent interview with NRA-ILA Executive Director Chris W. Cox

“Unlike Hillary Clinton, I believe the Second Amendment protects an individual right, and the D.C. gun ban overturned in Heller is exactly the kind of law the Second Amendment was meant to prohibit,” Trump said. He added: “I will appoint judges who will preserve our Second Amendment rights. Hillary Clinton will appoint judges who will eliminate them.”

When it’s all said and done, that’s all America’s gun owners really need to know about the two candidates.

Now the rest is up to us. Will we, as NRA members and gun owners, get out and vote—and get out the vote—strongly enough to send Hillary packing and send a true gun rights advocate to the White House? The answer will be known very soon.

We’ll see you tomorrow with election results, analysis and all the other Second Amendment news you’ve come to expect every morning at A1F Daily.
