Great american outdoor show exhibitFellow NRA members, I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at the 2023 NRA Great American Outdoor Show, being held Feb. 4-12 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa. Each year at GAOS, we celebrate the hunting, fishing and outdoor traditions treasured by millions of Americans and their families.

Since taking over the world’s largest outdoor show a decade ago, GAOS has become one of the NRA’s best-loved events. There is no other show in the world of this size and scope. More than 165,000 people made the trip to Dauphin County in Pennsylvania for GAOS in 2022, and local officials estimate that the show contributes $75 million to the local economy each year. At GAOS, attendees can interact with many industry insiders and like-minded Americans, along with browsing the numerous products on display.

Exhibitors at GAOS demonstrate products and technologies that drive the way we enjoy the outdoors. The exhibition halls include shooting sports, archery, hunting, outdoor lifestyle and products, fishing and hunting outfitters (both domestic and international), fishing tackle, trucks, boats, ATVs, recreational vehicles and much more. Since it is a dedicated consumer show, GAOS is a great place for companies to connect with their core audiences and vice versa. This year’s schedule also includes world-class shooting, hunting and fishing instruction spanning nine days of demonstrations and seminars.

GAOS is a destination event for the whole family. It’s the only place where in one day you can compete for bragging rights at the archery range, observe canine acrobatic ability in action at the Dock Dogs big-air pool and then go to a wild-game-cooking demonstration. Youngsters can visit the Kid’s Trout Pond for some angling action and spend time at the Eddie Eagle Kid’s Zone. And, no visit to GAOS is complete without buying a ticket for a chance to win a firearm at the famous NRA Wall of Guns, sponsored this year by Weatherby.

Another can’t-miss at GAOS is the Friends of NRA Banquet, which will be on Thursday, Feb. 9. Be sure to join us and help raise money for national, state and local programs that support America’s shooting heritage.

And on the last Saturday of the show, NRA Country will present an unforgettable night of music by Platinum-selling artist and country superstar Brantley Gilbert, along with special guest Jacob Bryant. They will have the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center rocking as we celebrate our shared values and the outdoor lifestyle.

Act fast and buy your tickets now for the 2023 Great American Outdoor Show. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children, with two-day passes discounted to $26. In addition, admission is free with the purchase of an NRA membership. To find out more, please visit greatamericanoutdoorshow.org.
