Our nation is threatened right now by an increasingly active movement of radical Islamic terror—but our leaders are unwilling to face this threat for what it is. They would rather deflect blame onto the National Rifle Association, the organization that works tirelessly to defend Americans from both bodily harm and loss of constitutional rights.

The NRA isn’t taking it sitting down. As evidence, look at the wealth of new material released over the last week, both on NRA News and broadcast television. Help us fight the lies and spread the truth by sharing these stories with your friends. And stay tuned, because more is coming.

NRA-ILA Executive Director Chris W. Cox is standing up to irresponsible politicians and media who have suggested that the NRA wants to make it easier for terrorists to obtain firearms. In “The Truth About the Terror Watchlist,” Cox rightfully calls such deceit wrong and “infuriating,” asserting that the NRA will not let President Obama and Hillary Clinton distract attention away from their repeated failure to keep Americans safe. Throughout the video, Cox sets the record straight on the NRA’s positions on watch lists and due process. And he sends a strong message to all those who seek to restrict our Second Amendment freedoms: “Make no mistake—the NRA will fight without apology to protect the rights of law-abiding Americans to defend themselves.” Help us fight the lies and spread the truth by sharing these stories with your friends. And stay tuned, because more is coming.

NRA Commentator and Veteran U.S. Navy SEAL Dom Raso has a message for the political hacks pretending they know an AR-15 from a double-barreled shotgun: Stop talking. Raso’s newly released commentary “The AR-15: Americans’ Best Defense Against Terror and Crime,” challenges Hillary Clinton’s statement that “weapons of war have no place on our streets” and that we need to ban AR-15s immediately. Raso isn’t afraid to call out the fact that AR-15s are fine for Hillary and her family. They’ve been protected by armed guards who have used them for three decades. But for average Americans who watch the news and feel genuine fear for their safety—Hillary wants to deny them the level of protection she insists upon herself.

In “The Media Hates The NRA More Than It Cares About The Truth,” NRA Commentator Dana Loesch sets the record straight on the NRA’s position on terror watch lists, which has been misrepresented by media, politicians and activists with an anti-Second Amendment agenda. The NRA has never opposed putting people the FBI believes are terrorists, or could be terrorists, on a list. But the NRA also believes that we cannot deny citizens their constitutional rights without due process. This is how justice works in America, but anti-gunners don’t like American-style justice. In Loesch’s words: “Not a single reporter has asked Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama or Chuck Schumer why they hate the constitutional system of due process.”

The NRA’s leadership has also been making the broadcast news circuit to call out anti-gun lies and make the case that the gun-control debate taking place right now is a distraction from the real issue: Protecting the nation from radical Islamic terror. Check out Chris W. Cox on “Hannity and “This Week,” along with NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Wayne LaPierre on “Face The Nation.”

Stay tuned for much more new material on NRA News in the coming weeks. With cynical opponents and opportunistic leaders willing to spread lies about our cause, it is crucial that we do not allow them to control the message about guns and freedom.
