Sheriff Clarke: Police Chief Flynn “Straight-Up Lied” About Gun Owners Committing Crimes

On Thursday, Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke went on NRATV’s “Stinchfield” to blast his counterpart, Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn. Shots were fired after Flynn deceivingly blamed the spike in Milwaukee’s crime rate on carry-permit holders. “He straight-up lied about what is going on,” Clarke disclosed. “He is an anti-gun zealot.”

“America’s Sheriff” then turned his attention to Flynn’s puppet master, Tom Barrett, Milwaukee’s inept mayor who regularly scapegoats law-abiding gun owners in an attempt to distract from his failures.

“Since concealed carry was passed in Wisconsin, we have cases, real cases, where people have been able to defend their lives, defend themselves in these criminal situations,” Clarke said. “If nothing else, people deserve the right—hell they were born with the right—to be able to defend themselves in these situations.”

Watch a clip of Sheriff Clarke’s interview with Grant Stinchfield above, and catch the whole interview on NRATV. “Stinchfield” airs live on NRATV.com weekdays at the top of the hour from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET. Past episodes are available on NRATV On Demand.
