Anti-gun activists like Michael Bloomberg and Shannon Watts like to say that nobody really needs a gun for self-defense. Perhaps this information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will change their minds.
According to a feature at Breitbart.com, FBI figures show more violent street gang members than ever. “Some 33,000 violent street gangs, motorcycle gangs, and prison gangs with about 1.4 million members are criminally active in the U.S. and Puerto Rico today,” the FBI reports. “Many are sophisticated and well organized; all use violence to control neighborhoods and boost their illegal money-making activities, which include robbery, drug and gun trafficking, prostitution and human trafficking, and fraud.”Fortunately, following the Obama administration basically ignoring the gang problem and trying to diminish the rights of gun owners, the Trump administration has other ideas. “If you are a gang member, know this: You think you're targeting us, well we're targeting you,” U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently told a law enforcement gathering in Memphis.
