The NRA Foundation awarded a $3,679.94 grant to help the Benavides Police Department in Texas buy necessary safety and training equipment.

“Our officers stand between violent predators and the people upon whom they prey. With this generous award from NRA, we can ensure that our officers have the most up-to-date equipment and training to safeguard the citizens of Benavides and their visitors.” Police Chief Corey Martinez said.

NRA Foundation grants are funded through a portion of proceeds from Friends of NRA events in the state.
