This year’s NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits will be held at the Music City Center in downtown Nashville, Tenn., April 16-19. The last time this event was held in Nashville—in 2015—it was one of the best shows ever, and this year we look to have an even better time!

Last year, more than 81,000 NRA members journeyed to Indianapolis to mingle, learn and share their enthusiasm with other Second Amendment advocates. Nashville’s festival-like atmosphere will revive that spirit, plus allow attendees to connect with over 600 firearm and accessory companies on display both inside and outside the Music City Center. From large pavilions outside to 350,000 square feet inside, there will be over 10 acres of the latest guns and gear—an unparalleled opportunity for you as a consumer to handle new products and talk directly with big-name manufacturers such as Remington Arms, SIG Sauer and Glock.

Of course, Nashville is also home to famous attractions like the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame, so it’s only fitting that multiple concerts will be presented this year, including a special show by the legendary Charlie Daniels Band. (Watch for additional announcements coming soon about talent on the free NRA Country Sound Stage and other very special concerts in the heart of Music City.)

The National NRA Foundation BBQ held Thursday night will be your welcome into the weekend, with fantastic food, raffles and auctions to benefit the charitable Friends of NRA program.

Friday brings the popular Women’s Leadership Forum Luncheon and Auction. Forum co-chairs Susan LaPierre and Janet Nyce will provide the food, auctions and entertainment; the packed house of like-minded women will provide the enthusiasm, ideas and camaraderie. Women will come away more inspired and committed to the cause of freedom than ever!

A Friday event not to be missed is the NRA-ILA Leadership Forum. NRA’s Wayne LaPierre and Jason Ouimet welcome Second Amendment leaders from government, media and entertainment to take stock of the current state of firearm freedoms and to present serious insight into future outlook. Later on, at the NRA-ILA Dinner and Auction, attendees rub elbows with celebrities, firearm executives and devoted Second Amendment supporters. You can also check out many impressive one-of-a-kind items donated just for the auction, including engraved firearms, suppressors, knives, fine art, hunts, optics and trips from around the globe.

Saturday’s main event is the Annual Meeting of Members, where, for the 149th consecutive year, your civil rights organization encourages members to participate and help shape its future. At this historic gathering, members hear directly from the officers about the state of the NRA and have the chance to vote on issues and elect the 76th member of the NRA Board. The oldest and youngest Lifetime members will also be recognized.

Sunday starts off with our National Prayer Breakfast, where members receive Christian inspirational messages and music. Shortly afterward, the Women’s New Energy Breakfast will offer one more chance for NRA women to network, learn about relevant programs, and meet the women in the leadership and staff of the NRA. The new Sunday Seminar Series will deliver talks on topics like methods of concealed carry, guns from major battles, personal protection techniques and more.

We round out the weekend by focusing on NRA’s future. Youth Day centers on family fun, with activities like a scavenger hunt, cow roping, BB and airsoft gun shooting, archery and an ice-cream social.

Entrance to the Annual Meetings is free for NRA members and their families, so honky-tonk your way on over to nraam.org to register.

This little scene witnessed in the West Wing showed a deep elitist bias that too much of the mainstream media has for our Second Amendment freedom.
