In a knee-jerk response to public outcry, several companies that once partnered with the NRA to provide member discounts have moved to end those deals. The NRA, with 5 million members who run the gamut from professionals to blue-collar workers and who represent every ethnicity and race, has written and posted a response to those companies, saying that their decisions to back off will not deter the NRA from fighting for your right to keep and bear arms.

“Let it be absolutely clear. The loss of a discount will neither scare nor distract one single NRA member from our mission to stand and defend the individual freedoms that have always made America the greatest nation in the world,” the statement said in part.
