NRA CEO, President Hold First Virtual Town Hall

NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Doug Hamlin was recently joined by NRA President Bill Bachenberg and Mark Keefe, managing director of editorial and public affairs, for the first virtual town hall. While such events have been held in person before, this was the first of its kind, allowing members throughout the country to tune in and send their questions to NRA leadership.

“This is an honorable organization. That staff that’s here, they’re hardworking, you can trust them,” said Hamlin. “We’re very judicious with our spending and there’s going to be no malfeasance on my watch.”

The trio fielded questions from those watching with confidence, honesty and transparency throughout, with the initial question simply asking, “why should someone join the National Rifle Association?”

For the answer to that, you’ll have to watch the town hall above. Further questions ranged from what is happening with national concealed carry reciprocity, a cause the NRA has championed, to whether or not the NRA is relocating to Texas.

This virtual town hall was filmed live and was unscripted, showcasing the NRA leadership’s commitment to honesty and transparency. Stay tuned for future events just like this.
