After plenty of tense waiting, the time has come for NOIR Season 4! Get ready to meet an entirely new cast of characters and hear real talk on real issues. This is the NOIR you love, but rawer and more political than ever before. Colion Noir let us know what to expect:

A1F Daily: So, word is you’re getting a bit more cinematic with the intro to this episode?

Colion Noir: I’ve always been inspired by beautiful cinematography. If a picture is worth a thousand words, beautiful cinematography is worth a million. I make it a point to make things as visually appealing as possible; it makes for a better experience and lasting impression.

A1F: Any interesting back stories behind the people you’ll be talking to?

CN: I met Farran while I was in law school through a mutual friend. She’s incredibly fun to be around and hang out with. I only recently learned that Farran was gay, not that it makes a difference one way or the other, but it does because she’s also pro-gun and rather conservative. She’s fearless about being herself and not changing for anyone, and I love that the most about her. She embodies the beautiful complexity that you find in people.

A1F: Are we going to be seeing you take on a certain challenge or run a particular course?

CN: The short answer is yes. Throughout the season I not only challenge myself intellectually, but physically. Each shooting segment will have its own theme, but not as sport-focused as the prior seasons have been; there’s a reason for every challenge.

Episode 1 is available online on the new NRA News website. Watch it in its entirety here.
